Seterra is a fun geography program with 88 different exercises. Learn about countries, capitals, flags and cities all over the world! Examples of exercises: countries in Europe; American states; American state capitals; French cities; cities in Mexico; countries in Asia, etc, etc… Seterra runs in English, German, French, Portuguese, Spanish or Swedish. Each exercise has a high score list to keep track of your progress. A colorful and addictive way to learn geography!

MB-GPS2KML converts a GPS log file (in plain NMEA format) to a KML file (placemark file for Google Earth) and opens this file in Google Earth.
Velocity, number of satellites and HDOP are interpreted as height, color and size of the icons.

Use your gps enabled mobile phone (WM5 / WM6) to store your position to a file and/or the internet.
Together with the website www.mapwm.com you can use MapWM to generate Google Earth/Map output and GPX files.

You may configure the software to store in regular intervals or to perform smart save and store only important track points.

Audible speed warning: prevent speeding ticket, let your mobile device warn you when you drive faster than the user defined speed limits

While this Beta has most of the functionality the final version will have, the user interface is not up to our expectations yet

VirtualGPS – is a free, small utility, which fully emulates GPS receiver and returns your location (by using cellular towers and wifi hotspots). Location accuracy is about 50-500m.

TUTORIAL
1. Run VirtualGPS, wait less than 1 minute until GPS: ON (or OFF in bad case) will be shown.
2. Run navigation software. In the settings put GPS on COMx (Port is displayed on the main screen).

Learn the U.S. states and capitals in a fun (and funny) way. A full screen clickable map of the U.S. is used to teach names and locations of states and capitals in a variety of ways. When the student completes ten problems they are rewarding with a silly animation using 3D graphics.

The tutorial section helps the student learn where states are on a map and which capitals go with which states.

The learn the states section lets the student see the state on the map and click on it’s name, or click on a state when they are presented with the name. There are multiple levels of difficulty and the student can work using all the states or just western, central or eastern regions. As the mouse is rolled over the U.S. map the states highlight to aid in selection.

The learn the capitals section lets the student see the state name and choose it’s capital, see the capital name and choose it’s state, or see a state on the map and click on the name of it’s capital. The last option can be very difficult and is ideal for mastery skills. This section has 15 different learning variations. The capitals section of the program is available in the registered version of the program.

EZ Driving Direction Maps show you the best route to your destination

With Country Locator you can scroll down a list of countries and select the one whose location you want to know. The 3D globe will then rotate and zoom-in and find the country ! Pretty soon you will be visualizing the location of all the countries of the world. You will notice the relative size of different countries. Of course, not every significant place is a country. Country Locator also know of 42 places around the world which are not countries, such as Puerto Rico, Tahiti, etc. which you will want to know. And no doubt you will want to use the program in "Locate" mode, which means that it is now up to you to locate the countries. The program will prompt you for a particular country and you must rotate the globe yourself and find that country. The program knows if you found it or not and adds it to a list – so that you can see for yourself what countries you have found – and for those countries which you just have no idea about, you can press the "Auto" locate button and the program will find it for you ! You will soon be visualizing 234 countries and places around the world – greatly increasing your geographical acumen. The flags of all the countries are presented as well. Also use the program to view the geographical landscape of the earth in three-dimensional form.
